The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will begin issuing Umrah visas for the new season 1448H starting tomorrow, Sunday, corresponding to 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447H (May 31, 2026), marking the official launch of the new Umrah season and the reception of pilgrims from around the world.
The Ministry clarified that the entry of Umrah performers into Makkah Al-Mukarramah will effectively begin the following day, Monday, in parallel with the activation of electronic issuance of Umrah permits through the “Nusuk” application, aimed at simplifying procedures and organizing the pilgrims’ journey.
It noted that these steps come in line with the approved seasonal timetable for Umrah, which is designed to regulate the flow of pilgrims, facilitate their arrival, and enhance the efficiency of services provided within the Two Holy Mosques.
The Ministry confirmed that visa issuance will be conducted through the “Nusuk” platform, with the first of Shawwal set as the final deadline for issuing Umrah visas for the current season, as part of an integrated regulatory framework aimed at improving crowd management and service quality.
These procedures contribute to smoother movement within the Grand Mosque and enhance the spiritual experience of Umrah performers, in alignment with the Kingdom’s ongoing digital transformation in services for pilgrims.
